Back to the proper football with a trip to Old Trafford tomorrow. Hoping for a similar result to our visit a couple of years ago.
Another poor penalty decision against Palace put united into the lead just before half time. A Wayne Rooney free kick finished us off. A nervous game from the Palace players who made life difficult with some silly passes but that should take nothing away from what was another strong team performance.
With a bit more confidence in our ability we would have got something from the game at Old Trafford.

I do like United (from my time at Madchester), but I have to admit that this was never a penalty. The hassle was outside the area, let alone the ‘severity’ of the tackle.
The pleasing thing about the game was 3,000 South Londoners outsung 72k plastic football fans
